Push-up exercises done on the floor are commonly used in martial arts training. There are two variations of push-ups that can be performed:

1. Static exercises: This involves getting into a plank position, supporting your body with your toes, hands under your shoulders with extended elbows, and performing push-ups at a controlled tempo of twenty times per minute.
2. Dynamic exercises: In this variation, position yourself parallel to the floor with a slight arch in the back (lowering the pelvis towards the floor) and perform push-ups at a faster pace, ranging from 60 to 80 times per minute.

This recommended technique claims to help increase the number of push-ups by up to tenfold. For instance, starting with just 10 push-ups, following this technique may lead you to be able to do a hundred within a month. If you add one push-up per day, you could potentially reach forty push-ups (10 + 30). However, some alternative techniques are suggested here to assist in boosting your push-up count.
